This gathering is geared toward those who have received their first Sacraments at the Easter Vigil; it is “Year 2” of the RCIA process, and is open to anyone who would like a review of Catholic basics. Our most popular group at Wednesday Night Out.
God uniquely calls each of us to Himself and the Church, and each year a diverse group of adults with different faith backgrounds prepare to enter the Catholic Church and receive the Sacraments. It is our job as their parish family to help them along this journey. This preparation for entrance into the Church through reception of the Sacraments at Easter Vigil takes place during Wednesday Night Out.
Schole Sisters of West Michigan are Catholic homeschooling mothers who meet up in REAL LIFE to recharge their souls through discussion of great literature, poetry, music, arts and of course homeschooling. The restorative nature of this group will hopefully overflow into our daily lives as homeschooling mothers.
We will meet at St Isidore's WNO program on the second Wednesday of each month. We will also take inspirational outings to local museums, art galleries, wineries, plays, etc every six to eight weeks.
We are Catholic homeschooling women who are obedient to to Magisterium of the Catholic Church. Mothers in this group are the primary educators of their children. We are here to support and encourage homeschooling but homeschooling topics are not the primary focus ;).

You are invited to come and learn about a local Well-Read Mom small group forming in this area. Well-Read Mom is a way for women to reclaim time to read the best. The goal is to provide a monthly structure for reading high quality literature and grow in friendship in the process. The year includes great books, spiritual classics (during Advent and Lent), worthy reads, poetry and selected essays from the Catholic and Western Tradition. Our meetings will take place once a month during Wednesday Night Out (following dinner) and will begin on September 28, 2016, continuing on the 4th Wednesday of the month thereafter. Rest assured, this is NOT your typical book club! The idea is to nourish your mind and soul with good literature and good conversation. However, the best laid often are waylaid by the needs and demands of a family. If you cannot get to the book for whatever reason, we would love to have you come and enjoy some coffee and conversation with other moms!
The books for the Year of the Friend will include:
